    Rasmussen Iron Works was started in California in 1907 as a blacksmith shop. Four generations later and after many years of change, they have emerged as a leader in the gas log industry.     Rasmussen logs are hand-crafted from original wood patterns for superior bark detail. They are constructed of the finest quality fireproof refractory materials and steel reinforcing. A mulit-step coloring process is hand-applied to finish each log.
